In eighteenth century A.D when the King of Persia, Nadir Shah attacked India it was ruled by a King Mohammad Shah who was a lazy man, ease loving and used to useless activities like dance and music. He had not the power to fight Nadir Shah so decided to have the Persian King as a guest with him. Now Nadir Shah with his force remained as a compelled to guest in Delhi who while coming back to Persia brought back with him valuable and historic things from the treasury of India alongwith the famous throne named 'Takht- e Ta'oos'.
While Nadir Shah was staying in India he had one day some pain in his stomach. The Indian King ordered the physicians to prepare a medicine for him. India has its more decent customs and discipline than many other places. Thus, when the medicine was brought before Nadir it was delicious and a sweet odour was rising from it. Nadir Shah was a simple minded Turk who could not differentiate the medicine with a diet and took it as a whole in three morsels and said "the pudding was very tasty, bring some more of that"("halva bisyaar khoob bood deegar biyareed").
